On the one hand, if the recipe became permanent with the character that received it, then that would (very arguably) be overpowered considering you wouldn't need to play him anymore. I agree. Warly's purpose should be to make life easier for the other survivors at the sacrifice of making his own survival harder. He is a tough character to play, so who would want to if his massive amount of team support could essentially be done by another survivor after getting ahold of his cookbook. I just don't want him to suffer from pre-rework Winona syndrome where his main purpose is to craft a bunch of character specific stuff, and then switch to someone else.
