TheEvilMango
Hello I need help with automation once again. I'm trying to get a set up that makes a door close so that heat transfers between 2 tiles and than opens at once it reaches about 120f but doesn't close again until it's below 100f. How would I do this?

crypticorb
You need a memory toggle, what it does is it holds a green signal until it is reset by a second device. Memory toggle's special function is their set/reset function, which allows you to hold an output until the reset condition is met. In this setup, the top thermo sensor will toggle the SET condition on the memory toggle if the temperature rises above 120F, and the memory toggle will hold that green output even if the top sensor goes red. Once the bottom sensor drops below 100F, it will send a green signal and RESET the toggle, and it will stay red until the temperature rises above 120F again. The NOT gate is there to make the door close rather than open when you want it to.
TheEvilMango
Thank u. I've been trying to figure out what memory toggles would be good for and how they work for a while now.
