With these bead pumps I thee wed

Recommended Posts

I have a steam vent and a cool steam vent in close proximity to one another. My current plan is to pump all of the steam into one chamber and treat it as a single mass. The cool steam vent is putting out an average of 1.28 kg/s and the steam vent is 0.5 kg/s, giving me a total of 1.78 kg/s at around 222 C. My current thought is to put a single turbine on top with 4 ports open and call it a day. The steam pressure will build up very slightly over time but I figure that will only serve to smooth out the temperature fluctuations. Is it easy enough to marry these two vents or would I be better off taming them seperately?

In other news, I am liking this play through so far. 1 copper volcano, 1 gold, 1 normal, 3 hydrogen vents, 2 Nat Gas, 1 cool slush, 2 cool steam, 1 steam. Seed is VOLCA-375957438-0

They don't both erupt all the time.  When one stops and the other goes, you're going to get wild temperature fluctuations, possibly stopping the turbine due to low temperature.  You might need to use a split turbine design to make sure one port is always > 125 C.
