co2 fields near open space

Recommended Posts

Gas is destroyed only once it is in a space exposure tile, not while in a tile connected to space. You will notice that on those tiles that once were part of a normal biome there is no space exposure attribute. This means that gas in those tiles will diffuse following normal rules and only the small portions of it that periodically reach space exposure tiles will be destroyed, small quantities at a time. Depending on the initial quantity of the gas, it might take ages to clear, much like it takes ages to vacuum a vast room with one pump: only few micrograms are transferred in the final period. If you want it to become vacuum fast, you will have to help it with pumps. Important to notice, if a small packet reaches the area afterwards, you will have the same problem again.

I think i understand , thx. It would be nice if this area had a name in the game and show this information.
