Ideas on events

On printing pod finishing timer (can spawn something), if dupes are upset and cycle > 300, add a risk that the printing pod will force print lava.

Ok maybe not. Sid Meier had the idea that in Civilization, your civ could go down, have a hard time and then it's even more awesome when you recover. Well no. It turned out that when going down due to random events, the test players would reload the game and never encounter the coming back up part. This means random events, which are negative shouldn't be too powerful.

If you want a prank event, then do something like printing pod printing water. Not bottled water, just water.

Another idea is to make all dupes pee at the same time.

All critters lay an egg each regardless of fertility status.

There are plenty of events, which can alter the game without making too much influence to the game and break balance.

I think that falls into the "the player will rage quit or reload" category. Losing the printing pod can be a major setback to a not insignificant number of players.

Actually the script would be melt printing pod at turn x scenario where the player choose at gamestart when.
