PaulV
In the descriptions for the greenhouse and power plant rooms the game states that your dupes can do tending/tune-ups to improve the plant growth and power generation respectively. However it seems to me that they could do that without the specific room, just by virtue of having a farm/power control station around. So I was wondering if the rooms themselves actually have any passive bonuses to plant growth/power generation, or if they're basically just for show? Neotuck
Seems to be a bug the devs had addressed before but no patches have been released to fix it Same problem with grooming stations with stables Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/104945-greenhouse-and-power-plant-room-bonuses/#findComment-1178856 Share on other sites
Khullag
i think the room itself should give some benefit in additon to being able to improve plants/generators via station. coz if you do not plan to use station - there's no point in arranging your stuff into rooms. just from the top of my head: - power plant room can slightly (e.g. 10%) decrease heat generation of all generators/batteries/transformers in the room - greenhouse can decrease resource consumption by plants (water/dirt & etc.) by again e.g. 10% and add some bonuses to all other rooms that do not have any bonus yet (i actually can't remember if there are any other rooms without bonuses - ah yeah stable!) then at least there will be more benefits in building such rooms Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/104945-greenhouse-and-power-plant-room-bonuses/#findComment-1178944 Share on other sites
