General rant alarm /Pathfinding - AI sucks /Idle Dupes - > in recreation room / coughing in exos / gas deletion/transformation everywhere / New sickness mechanics

When dupes wear exos and they cough, they put down exo helmet, to catch breath.
They do it, wherever they are, makes not really sense for me.
Make it, that sick dupes can not wear exos, or they cough with exo on.

Gas replacement - deletion happens everywhere on the map, sucks very much for me, most times, where gas / mixed and liquids included (stairs with liquid flowing down, or where liquids change their state to solid (CO², W, PW - freezing)),

Idle dupes should idle in recreation rooms.
It makes no sense to build these, when they don't use it.

That pathfinding AI sucks very ultra megahard, best viewed when:
Make 10 dupes idle, spread out deodorizers at different locations (so that they produce clay/need sand)
As soon as sand is needed, all dupes move to get some.
At some point all dupes (-1) drop their stuff (sand in this case).
Now dupes sweep back sand into storage (when the item is dropped loooong ladder corridor down, with no O²), sometimes a loop of doom starts, where dupes overload with same silly loop tasks.

New sickness mechanics suck. Random is bad move, only to increase importance of pills.
In a game, where sensors for most stuff exists and everything is adjustable, random component makes no better gameplay there.
When a source of sickness is ignored, it should spread out, when dupes fight/disinfect, they push it back.
Game is freaking slow now - exp.

Is this just visual or do they catch breath from outside? And do they emit slimelung around, they shouldn`t. It should be contained in the suit like farts. This needs some looking at.

Totally agree. It`s happening on it`s own and can trasform huge amounts of gasses creating hydrogen and oxygen out of nowhere.

Well they use them during downtime when they finish peeing and eating but idling there would make more sense than sitting in a random biome outside the base or in a low decor area.

I`m not sure if it`s fixable at this point. I hate the ladder loops of death. We need to find layouts that minimize the weirdness.

Pills were (almost) useless before. At least now we have a reason to make them. But the system doesn`t show us anything. A single germ flying around the base shouldn`t cause infection. It`s impossible to see the small amounts of germs that infect dupes and we can`t control almost anything about it. We need more control and more info.
