A very good secondary function. So what we can get from printing pods are just, ‘genetically ordinery’ duplicants. Isn’t there should be something better? Today I think I’ll just add something more on the printing pod, improving it’s function. Here I briefly introduce my idea - Printing Pod Modules. Modules are some small parts that can be connected to the printing pod that enhances its function, or in other word, gives it a upgrade. It connects to the pod lilke this: It does also mean you have to build modules along the printing pod. (Sorry for the poorly drawn printing pod.) Here are some ideas of the modules. Chromosome Module to increase duplicant genetics variety and increase the chance for genetically better duplicant. CPU Module to increase number of choices available with the cost of increased recharging time. Recharger Module to reduce recharge time with the cost of reduced item yield from printing and a small chance of defected genes in duplicants. Amplifier Module to increase item yield from printing with the cost of recharging time. Corpse Recycling Module to turn dead duplicant back alive, if they are not buried for long. However recycling a corpse will reset the recharge. Ooze Reprocessing Module allowing you to print two entities with the cost of doubled recharging time, but must fulfill the pre-condition of filling it with genetic ooze. Comments please!
