talula Posted January 25, 2019 Share Posted January 25, 2019 guys, all i can say is the character refreshes, sound like they can be a cool idea, and seem to be a good way of diversifying people's played characters, but, from what ive seen so far, it's leaving me worried that too much is going to change, and instead of a refresh, we're going to end up with character's essentially removed and replaced with identical looking ones, all these ideas to change the characters so vastly seems to defeat the point of changing anything, it makes more sense to just add a character at that rate, and, at that, klei has announced they are adding characters, maybe if you want something so different from what's already here, ask for it in something new, rather than to replace what we already have? well im just one chick with opinions i guess, but i just think it makes enough sense to where i can say it without looking more stupid than usual. Nah, it's good for as many people to make noise about their opinions re: character refreshes as possible. Klei needs to get a good idea of what different people want so that they can make informed decisions. Don't feel intimidated, your ideas are valuable! : ) I definitely want the refreshes to be small and surgically precise wherever possible, but I do also want a more balanced cast. Winona/Willow/Wilson/Woodie need love IMHO. Wicker needs the nerf hammer IMHO. Most of the others are in a decent spot. We also asked for it in something new. Literally since Beta. Winona was the one result, it was relatively recent, and it was basically a new skin rather than a gameplay update. Replacement or new, we've been asking for a long time, and personally, I'll take whatever I can get. Still hard to believe that Klei is serious about any of this, tbh.
