If in Don’t Starve (together) we have event portal, what about in ONI?

So I come over with this idea...

 

I think we can use this as a portal as a event portal or a portal that allows you access to other Klei worlds - such as Don’t Starve dimension (Deerclops alert!).

May support special events.

 

What do you guys think?

 

 

 

P.S. I tried to keep the concept art in ONI style however it is not T_T

I think the artwork for the portal actually looks pretty nice, tbh. though instead of a portal to other gameworlds, what if it could be use to travel to any planet thats been explored without using a rocket? you could send dupes in and they could bring back resources as needed and would just use tons of power instead of a full rocket to do the job.

Universe crossover events would be funny too, like getting certain characters from DS joining your base as unique Dupes, or Unique creatures that can either be ranched or wreck havok on your base if not swiftly dispatched. the characters could come aboard the base at random and would leave at the end of the cycle unless you made sure they had certain requirements met specific to each one, like wilson would need a bedroom containing a research station and briar bush, Willow would need a room with a tile of petroleum for her lighter, etc.

I like the idea. The portal could be a part of the ruins and mostly entombed. It wouldn`t work until you find certain parts of it scattered on nearby planets (so you can only access the thing later in the game). Once open it could grant a special dupe with unique traits a special critter (maybe an agressive one) or an artifact that you could put on the pedestal (maybe the stuff you could find in graves in DS).
