mrzimm
In the game there is a way to fill a bottle from the world and empty bottle to word. Also for gas there is a way to empty gas bottli to the world. It would be very useful to have: - Liquid filler that can fill a bottle from the pipe (a new building) - Liquid emptier that can empty a bottle into the pipe (a new building) - Gas emptier that can empty a bottle into the pipe (a new building) Gas filler that allows to fill a bottle from the pipe is already implemented and is very useful tool. These devices will be extremely useful for building cooling systems far from resource location and will not require a chamber + gas emptier + gas pump to just fill the gas pipe (same way for the liquid). Hope this makes sense.
mrzimm
I think this is a must have buildings, any update on the topic ?
M.C.
Bottle-to-pipe buildings for both gas and liquids? Yes please!
Sasza22
It`s been suggested a lot. Some people call it easy mode but i think it could be added as a more advanced bottle/gas emptier. It would also make bottling petroleum and other non water liquids take less room.
Lawnmower Man
I think a dev concern about getting stuff into pipes is that the overheat temp of pumps is an intentionally designed gating factor motivating the player to obtain higher-quality building materials. That being said, if the fillers had comparable power + overheat properties to pumps, then I think balance would be preserved. I think these would be appropriate given the hassle of doing a plumbing job and having random bottles laying around afterwards without a convenient way to get them back into the pipe network.
