About This File

You get bored to restart always on the same huge map? Try this custom map, you will live a new experience on an island without bridge !

Story :

Wilson still groggy from his trip through the Wooden Thing discovers an arid land surrounded by ocean. He looks around him and no bridge is visible, that is stuck on an inhospitable island without apparent means to escape.

But our hero does not disassemble and goes in search of information within this tiny piece of land. And research are not in vain since discovered two black pillars embedded in a stone wall that seem to be equipped with a mechanism allowing complex may point a way out.

Unfortunately, this brief glimmer of hope quickly fades when Wilson discovers the corpse of an old survivor lying before an inscription "SOS". Near skeletal remains of a makeshift camp near the throne where the drama dusk settled slowly.

Install Instructions :

1. Create a new party on the forth slot.

2. Exctract the files to this folder :

C:Program FilesSteamuserdatarandom number (13424563 for ex.)219740remote

3. Launch the game.

Install,

 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\139105741\219740\remote (the underlined number can be diferent but in the number-file you have to find number-file 219740)

 

But ive got WARNING. Why? :(

If you are playing on a stand alone. 

 

Create a new game in the 4th game slot.

 

Navigate to your Documents -> Klei -> DoNotStarve -> save ->

 

drop the survival_4 and restart_4 into that folder. (yes overwrite)

 

Start game

how i did install it HAVING OTHER MODS ACTIVATED/used before... at least it worked for me: 

 

extract the zip wherever you want and find in it the files "restart_4 and survival_4".

 

start a new game in slot 4. (i didn't try but it probably will work too if you don't want to lose your fourth slot, to change the names in restart_x survival_x and use that slot)

 

close the game.

go to C -> steam -> userdata -> there should be a folder called with a long number, open it.
inside it there should be other folders. open them one by one and enter in their "remote" folder (if they have one) until you find one with files named "survival_1" "survival_2" "survival_3" "survival_4". copy the files from before ("survival_x", "restart_x") here. it should overwrite the already existing "survival_x". 

done, start the game and go play the slot you've chosen
