How to gun good?

Hello, anyone who reads this.

I am currently making a custom character for DST, who I want to spawn with a gun and be able to craft bullets.

Also, when he shoots enough things, I want him to be able to do a super cool attack (yes, this is Mccree from overwatch)

I know that these are possible, as I have seen a mod for Ruby rose which does part 1, and a mod for Mercy from overwatch who does part 2 (kinda)

Please could someone give me guidance as to what to do? All character creation things don't say how to do items, and all item things are either not complicated enough or not helpful, and I have no idea whatsoever how to do the crafting.

Plus, is there a piece of code for natural sanity loss and natural sanity gain for items?
