Silentdarkness1
So, I see that the Steam Workshop is down on all games. You know, Klei, I knew somehow this whole Steam Workshop fervor will somehow, someday bite us in the rear end. The day has cometh, bringing apocalypse with it. R.I.P Steam Workshop We will remember you always.
Hugo M.
Don't lose your hope yet, Silent, I'm sure if we pray to the one true lord and saviour(Gaben) it'll all be fixed soon.
Silentdarkness1
I'm not so much wallowing in hopelessness, then being peeved at Klei for relying on the Steam Workshop so adamantly, a device tied to a program that is quite well known for failing all over the place. Randomly.

Palpetinus
It's just down for now, nothing more, nothing less. Why would you think they removed it, that would be a really stupid move. There was no announcement or anything. The community is sometimes down for even hours, does that mean you think that they removed the steam community pretty much every week at least once? If it was removed, the discussions would be missing, and the whole /workshop page as well. It's just down. Come on. You can't be serious with this. But they're NOT. Also, yes, sometimes the Community Server will be down for quite a while. Well, this is reaching into DAYS, not hours. Days. Sarcastic title and op aside, Steam Workshop has fallen and seems to be having trouble getting back up. And this is a problem for developers who have been relying on it as a popular source for players to go to, in order to get mods (coughcoughKleicoughcough). Silentdarkness1
Good news is that the workshop is back online. Bad news is that it was because of the UI update, and they had to roll it back to fix it.

Palpetinus
ye but how it does that (being overlay)? There's no easy way to explain that. The page first loads the whole overlay and behind all that stuff it simply refers to store.steampowered.com.
