Revival Ideas: Permanent health loss and playable ghosts

One thing that might help with the balance issue in being able to revive fallen players is if the revival would permanently lower both the person that is reviving and the person being revived's health by some amount. I also think that there should be some waiting period between death and revival. During this period the player would still be able to move around as a ghost or skeleton, but would cause a massive sanity drain to be around. It would also kill trees and flowers around it, and turn bees into killer bees when near them. What do you guys think?

I assumed there would be a permanent health loss if you revived yourself without using a touchstone/effigy. Some other means of revival would result in a permanent health loss, so that way should be avoided unless there is no other choice.
