goboking Posted June 29, 2018 Share Posted June 29, 2018 I'm not a geologist, I'm not a metallurgist, and I'm certainly not a chemist, but my Google Fu has produces results that suggest that chemical limestone (whatever that is) can be used to make steel. If this is the case, perhaps a new biome with plenty of limestone (along with whatever other new elements that want to add to game) could lessen steel manufacturing's reliance on ranching.
