Demiskeleton
is it possible to have the server pause time when nobody is on it?
Developer MarkL Posted January 28, 2015 Developer Share Posted January 28, 2015 @Demiskeleton, I actually added this today! In settings.ini, under [network]add:pause_when_empty = true This only works in Dedicated Servers, and is mostly useful for private servers. For more information on the different configuration options, please see:http://dont-starve-game.wikia.com/wiki/Don%E2%80%99t_Starve_Together_Dedicated_Servers This feature hasn't had a lot of testing yet, so please let me know how it goes for you. DarkXero
This is nice. Something minor I noticed: I enabled it and the server gets stuck in the creation phase after populating the voronoi, in the TheWorld with a complete() line. You have to put it in false, create the server, close it, then set it to true. Else, you will never get a survival_<slot> appear.
Developer MarkL Posted January 28, 2015 Developer Share Posted January 28, 2015 Thanks for the report! I was testing with a pre-generated world, so that makes a lot of sense. I'll look into fixing that asap.
