DeDangerIn
A member named rezecib came up with a method to fix the permanent night problem that happens sometimes when exiting caves. The attached mod below adds a shortcut command to the console: c_fixnight() fixnight.zip 1. Unzip the attachment into your mods folder (eg. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dont_starve\mods)2. Enable the mod from the "Mods" menu Now, whenever you get the infinite night issue, simply open the console and type "c_fixnight()". The command will automatically perform rezecib's fix, demonstrated in the bug's thread:http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/32818-infinite-night-after-exiting-cavesruins/

Some posts have claimed that this bug will be fixed in the update, we'll see if that turns out to be true.
MaestarLibrarian
This has already been mentioned in a dozen posts including mine. Let people use the search function now for once,.
mrtwoface
A dev did mention in the April 24th patch notes thread that this bug had been fixed and the fix would go live soon. You might want to just wait it out rather then try something non-official that Klei can't help you with.

There are a dozen posts sharing a mod that adds a "c_fixnight()" command to the console? If you bothered to read posts before replying to them, you wouldn't come off as a grumpy moron. You make it look like you're butthurt over people not searching for your post.

This is more of a convenience for people who are already using the console to fix the issue. It took me less time to make the simple mod than to type the longer console command.
