My worlds were deleted after i rest my xbox.

I got on the game, but I was lagging. I restarted my xbox, because every time dst lags on xbox, the restart usually works. Restarting my xbox never does anything to my game, but this time I got on and all my worlds were gone. I checked my game and there's no saved data for dst, which is crazy since I'm pretty sure dst saves on cloud, idk how a restart would mess everything up. I didn't lose my items but all my clothing presets for every charcter have been wiped and my worlds are gone. Not too happy klei. I'm also writing this like an hour of after this happened, I restart my xbox again, tried playing offline, but it seems like everything is just gone.

Steps to Reproduce

Restarting game

User Feedback

I am sorry for your loss, this is a known issue, however it is pretty hard to track down, but I can help you prevent the same issue from happening.

If you are ever asked "Which save do you want to choose," always pick 'This Console' and NEVER 'The Xbox Network'. Restarting your Xbox may cause syncing issues to the cloud, which might cause the save delete glitch.

This is the bug that turned me against klei. Been in the game for years, plenty of time to track and fix a bug that deletes all your progress. Players losing thousands of hours of progress is awful, and Klei's hands off approach doesn't really cut it. @ImDaMisterL  @JoeWyou guys need to address this. If you want an internal example of how angry this makes people, go delete some of the devs files and see how it makes them feel. We paid for this experience. Do your job, make people aware of what to do if they encounter this! Make Xbox users aware that this will happen when you select "cloud save". The only steps the player needs to prevent this is choosing "Console Storage". If everyone on Xbox knows this because of a pop up, or text on the title screen, the bug disappears, regardless of your incompetence.

You also need to track down as many of the users who encounter this bug as you can, and apologize to them, for waisting thousands of hours of their time. It wouldn't hurt to compensate them with in game currency as well, but understand that most people who encounter this bug will quit, and share their awful experience.
