Unexpected Town Placement Changes

HeatAndRun
  • Branch: Preview Branch Version: Windows Fixed

Recently I moved my save to beta branch from live branch for testing, and find out that some of my structures are gone at the bottom of the town. I suppose it's due to the changes in town mainly because of the newly introduced farm plots?

I placed my mannequins there for fast equipment changing. It wasn't a big deal for me since I always come back to live branch to see what was there, but I think it could possibly be problematic for players when the Delicious Update comes to the Live branch. Some players won't be able to see what was there before the update, and might feel frustrated.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Import your town save from live branch to beta.

2. Some of the structures will be disappeared.

For comparison, a town that never had anything placed along the bottom edge:

I think I removed some flowers from the bottom edge before. So those missing flowers were there before I took the screenshot.

@HeatAndRun I have a fix, but if you could post in-game feedback from the Steam default branch (use subject "HeatAndRun save for David") or upload your live branch save here then I double-check with your save file.
