If you are using hammer and deal an attack then immediately dodge cancel after damage is dealt, "on-attack" abilities will still remain active. This mainly applies to abilities like "wind-up" and "little-schemer" where you can do an attack, immediately dodge cancel, and use the abilities power, but still keep the power of the ability (which causes on odd interaction with wind up where it can go past 5). The attack on hammer where you can easily do this are golfswing, basic heavy attack, 1st standing light attack, and dodge-light attack.
(I'm not sure if this impacts other weapons?)
1. Use hammer with an ability that is based on activating on an attack
2. Attack with the hammer and dodge-cancel the moment you deal damage
3. Note how you still retain the power of the ability but also used it while attacking.
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
