theres nothing on the world

just bought the game, started a world and everything is black, i can see the name tags and hover over blocks but can't see anything

Log on the DLC and start a world.

Go to bugs

There are some known compatibility issues between a subset of Mac integrated GPUs and the Oxygen Not Included engine. Try the following and let us know if it resolves this issue.

  1. In Steam, Right-click on Oxygen Not Included -> Properties
  2. Under the General Tab, choose "Set Launch Options..."
  3. In the text field, add "-force-glcore" -> Click OK
