Scalding for no reason after removal of the suit upon exiting the hot zone.

So, I took screenshots and I will describe the problem step by step.

Digger Camille runs from the hot (250+ C) zone through the vacuum hydro seal into the cold zone. She is not carrying any hot objects with her. There are no hot pipes, structures, or materials around her. All that could conceivably be hot on her is her underwear and Atmo Suit.

This is the moment when she just took the suit off. I'm not sure if the Toasty Surroundings debuff should be present after leaving the 250-degree zone in the suit, but that's not the point. You can tell by the look on Camille's face that she's in uncomfortable conditions right now. Note: Atmo Suit Checkpoint is made of lead, which means that the ambient temperature is not higher than 55 degrees, otherwise it would break or take damage too.

Camille takes her first batch of damage.

Camille takes a second batch of damage and a Scalding debuff. I've checked three hundred times, there's nothing hot around. As soon as Camille takes damage two or three times, she stops taking damage while standing in the same spot.

Camille continues to consider the scalding environment around her, even as she runs away from the lead Atmo Suit Docs. The hottest thing in a 40-cell radius is, of course, just Camille herself.

Camille is forcibly returned to the place where she took damage. The environment is no longer considered too hot, no damage. Nearby you can see a Atmo Suit dock that recently took damage overheat damage once. The dock temperature is currently 25 degrees.

Presumably for some reason the game thinks that the Atmo Suit that has been in the hot zone also heats up to high temperatures. At the same time, returning the "hot" Atmo Suit in place, the temperature readings in the information plates do not change, but Dupe and Atmo Suit Doc behave as if somewhere near there is a very hot object. Other than the suit, nothing else falls under suspicion.I tried to rebuild the docks and reloaded the game. This does not fix the problem. If Dupe goes into the hot zone for a short time and comes right back, there is no scalding effect, no damage.

I apologize if this is now how Atmo Suits work and require cooling when returning from hot zones, I was not aware of this. But, in theory, this should not happen, otherwise the ambient temperature readings would change, and so far it seems to be a bug.

Steps to Reproduce

Presumably, build a checkpoint with Atmo Suits in front of the hot zone, create a vacuum hydro seal, open the hot zone, stay in it long enough for the suit's surface to heat up, return to the dock.

So, I built a joke like this, which, "according to my calculations," should cool the suit down to some degree before removal. Plus, I made sure that no items were brought in from the Oil Biome. And the problem is almost completely gone, scalds occur, but extremely rare. It is worth noting that the water and dock temperatures are almost unchanged and correspond to the environment, which is quite cold. However, the weight of the suit is 200 kg and even if it is heated to 250 degrees on return, I do not think that I could heat the water much with my crew.

I can confirm the problem - scalding continues after the dupe has moved out of the hot zone, e.g. into vacuum.

Also, scalding occurs even if the amount of hot gas is minuscule, like less than few milligrams per tile.

I have also noticed a strange behavior of the Duplicant while wearing the Atmo suit. Even with the suit on, he continues to "feel" the ambient temperature. When he runs through the spilled cold water, he reports that he is cold (snowflake emotion). When he is in an elevated temperature, but one that is much lower than the allowable limit that the suit can withstand (200-300 degrees), he reports that he is hot (the emotion with the fire). I do not remember duplicants complaining about the temperature inside the suit, unless it is super-hot ambient temperatures.

I believe this problem and the problem in my first post have the same root.

I've seen this bug in the vanilla game. My workaround was to locate the suit dock farther away from the geothermal chamber airlock.
