I kept wondering where my lead suits had gone, then I noticed that a duplicant wearing a lead suit can attempt to enter the base through an atmo suit checkpoint, even if the atmo suit checkpoint is set to Vacancy Only. The lead suit will be placed into the inventory of the atmo suit dock. The lead suits stack up in the inventory of the atmo suit dock. You can retrieve the lead suits by destroying the atmo suit dock.
Expected behavior would be that a duplicant wearing a lead suit is not allowed into the base through the atmo suit checkpoint because it is set to vacancy only and there is no vacant lead suit dock.
Create a lead suit dock and checkpoint, and at atmosuit dock and checkpoint. Have a duplicant wear a lead suit. The duplicant will path through the atmosuit checkpoint, and place their lead suit into the inventory of the regular atmosuit checkpoint. The lead suit will be lost and unavailable to be retrieved until the atmo suit dock is destroyed.
