Gas Spacefarer Input Port not venting to space

The Gas Spacefarer Input Port not venting to space states that it "Allows a direct conduit connection out of the Spacefarer Module of the rocket. Can be used to vent Gasses to space during flight." The Gas Spacefarer Input Port does not do this (ironically the status nominal tooltip says "The building is working as intended" - uh, no, it's not)

My rocket is in space and flooding with CO2 that I cannot vent to space. See screenshot.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Connect gas pipes to Gas Spacefarer Input Port
  2. Launch rocket to space
  3. Gas Spacefarer Input Port does not vent to space and gasses back up

Still an issue. The problem is not constant for me though, sometimes it works, but usually stops working after a while in space.

I have also noticed that 'Interior Building Restrictions' is also bugged. Some buildings does not enable after a rocket is launched. So perhaps the input port 'thinks' it's still grounded where ports works differently ?
