Flydo becomes Idle, tasks get message: Flydo cannot complete chore

Skillers42
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Windows Fixed

I had 2 worlds where Flydo stop working and become Idle. Tasks that they should be able to complete get the message: Flydo cannot complete the chore.
The message appears even when the tasks is just a few tiles next to each other and the Flydo can reach both (Shown by the path options)
Some times when giving them a move to command right next to a resource that has a task pending they will start preforming that and Idle again after.
Reloading the game makes them perform a few Tasks before they become Idle. The Idle happens to different Flydo at different moments.
Making a battery run out before supplying a new one seems to help them work again.

My testing is incomplete since I don't know what triggers the Idle. For the 2 worlds where it happened it happened around 200 days.

It is not game breaking but is frustrating.

I tested if any of my Mods cause this but even with all disabled or enabled the same bug happens.

It is possible that I am doing something wrong or misunderstanding the Flydo but any help would be amazing. I have a base with 2 Flydo just chilling and not working.

Ill Let the save stay in its current state and can share or help provide more info if needed.

Steps to Reproduce

I dont know how to reproduce. It seems to happen around 200 days with multiple Flydo.

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I'm encountering the same thing. Flydo appears to be able to use some storage bins but not others. Restart doesn't fix the issue. I've attached my save file centered on the area in the screenshot. (I have not disabled mods but it sounds like that's not the issue.)

There's also no database entry for Flydo so we could use some clarification about their expected capabilities.

I have a hunch why this is happening.
but before I say it, experimental confirmation is required.
Can you, someone install this mod, watch for a while and tell me if the Flydo problem is solved or not ?
