Wild Pufts tend to spawn above polluted water pools/puddles. Their egg drops into the polluted water and rots before hatching or if it does hatch, the baby puft immediately drowns. I was only able to save two pufts in my entire map this play around, I checked on the forum and it seems to be a very common occurrence. There needs to be a way the wild Pufts can survive without the player having to make a bee-line into the swamp biome at the start of the game to keep them from going extinct.
Steps to Reproduce
Start a game, pause and check nearby swamp biomes, the pufts that are over polluted water, their eggs will never end up being viable and most of them are over polluted water.
