When I try to start a new game, the loader stops

Alance
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: OSX Fixed

I'm getting the same error today when trying to load an existing game. When I try to start a new game, the loader stops at the step "generating interest" and never finishes. I was able to start a game yesterday, so this may be related to today's update.

I'm getting the same error today when trying to load an existing game. When I try to start a new game, the loader stops at the step "generating interest" and never finishes. I was able to start a game yesterday, so this may be related to today's update.

Hello. I bought the game on Steam. I have a MacBook Pro mid 2015 with a 2.2 GHz processor and 7 RAM 16 GB Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB OS High Sierra when I start the game it freezes. but it doesn't give any error and it continues indefinitely. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it several times, rebooted my PC. nothing changed. same problem

Same issue here, except that my machine is a Macmini6,2 (i7-3720QM). Runs the previous_update branch without problems. SimDLL.bundle is in the Plugins folder,  size 575K, together with steam_api, resonanceaudio, and fmodstudio bundles.

Player.log

EDIT to add: loading previous saves (from the previous_update branch, for obvious reasons) crashes immediately.

Changed Status to Known Issue

The issue appears to affect anyone on High Sierra (10.13.6) or Mojave (10.14.6). We are investigating.
