Water sieve not working for no reason

  • Branch: Preview Branch Version: Windows Pending

The water-sieve near the top/Gravitas Facility is not working for no reason I can see. There is no message about anything missing or blocked. Save + reload does nothing. Deconstructing and reconstructing it makes it work again.

Maybe some issue with it having Sand and Regolith both in it? I really wish you would allow explicit selection of filtration medium for Water Sieves and Deodorizers...

v072.sav

Steps to Reproduce

Load save. See Sieve not performing.

User Feedback

If I had to guess it probably has something to do with the building being unable to use 2 different filtration mediums at once (much like the bug with petroleum engines having issues with having both petroleum and ethanol in them at once.)

Probably. Other than isolating it from dupes feeding in sand, I see no real possibility to fix that. But what is suspicious is that two others have not had any problems in the same time. Anyways, I think I will try to prevent sand from going in and see what happens. As the bug is persistent on save/reload, Klei should be able to debug this easily though.

Well other than Klei fixing the code to allow 2 different types of materials to be used at once as long as it meets the total required needs for the building's task.
