The game crashes after the Klei interface appears

Logs attached, but they appear to be from sessions prior to the game update.

edit: just noticed that this thread is referring to preview branch, mine is happening on live.  (I'm assuming preview is for some beta version?)

My particular issue has been resolved.

My antivirus software (Comodo v12.2.2) did not quarantine or contain the executable, but had the file marked as an 'unrecognized app'.  The start-up issue was fixed once I marked the file as trusted.

@kleiup Your Steam client might need to be updated. Check Help -> About Steam and let me know what the Built date is. When was the last time you were able to play the game?

Since I bought this game, I haven't started it successfully.But dont starve can work

The version of steam client is old and needs updating.
