That is a"Point of Interest" for it to clear you must enter it, that is normal. your "Bug" is that there is no door to enter it..

Changed Status to Known Issue

AllPainful is correct; that's a mystery area which needs to be explored by a duplicant; however there is a bug in that the doorway to the mystery area got "overwritten" by the geyser. Thanks for taking the time to report this and to post a screenshot!
