suddenly consistent crashing

Got from cycle 230 to 297 by loading an earlier autosave instead of just resuming.  Now it's happening again (crashing right after load).

Does the log file not exist after a crash? Can you double check the location if you don't mind? It seems really weird to not have a log at all!

Just to add to the report--I encountered this a while back on my current save. It'd crash either immediately after loading, or 5-10 cycles later, no crash report screen, no nothing, just hard fault and exit. I kept going through the 5-10 cycle crashes and eventually it quit crashing (so far) for the next 500 cycles or so. Not helpful, I know, but it's at least not an isolated case either.
