Submit bioscan not working

I have a POI next to an AETN in a cold biome that I can not access.  When I click submit bioscan on the door nothing happens.  I tried digging under the door to get into the room but it won't reveal the hidden room space even though I could now have a dupe climb up into it.

Doors only work from one side. Thats the side with "scanner" on it. And yes, you need a dupe to either unlock the door, or to enter the area. to unveil it.

You can only access the door from the outside.  Are you saying this door can only be opened from inside, where you can't get?  That would be one dumb bug.

Maybe. I´ve seen some doors only usable from within a closed door. 

But in this case, deonstruct the wall from outside, move a dupe inside and go from there.
