Storage bins and UI causing massive FPS issues.

Could you post your save file and output log?

Does it always happen on a new save, and is it happening in older saves as well?

I'm going to test deconstructing all my storage in my old save, but i'll have to start a brand new map and try digging up just enough to build a storage (though my current map i'm only on day 3).

Ok I'm starting to think its less of storage actually but rather the UI that is causing massive FPS drop (but doesn't seem to stick but it does drop FPS significantly). I noticed FPS drops whenever I click on a building to bring up its menu or whenever I click to build something among the building buttons.

EDIT:

I've found that while going to build anything my FPS drops from 60 to 30. The moment I cancel the building placement selection (for lack of knowing what to call it) it goes back up.

Storage bins causes my FPS to hang near 30 after I initiate the building placement selection and cancel, until I pause the game and wait a few seconds.

I've just experimented with a new sandbox map to see if the sandbox tools affect FPS when used, which they do.

EDIT 2:

Storage bins specifically are a major issue with FPS along with the UI elements it seems.

Clarifying something

Also adding this so its not asked (if my bug report has been seen by the forum managers yet?) I'm playing with no mods whatsoever.

They've definitely seen this, but it's probably been added to the list of FPS fixes that they're planning on working on down the road.

Ok, its just that with the pending status it seems that bugs get over looked (I'm certain that isn't the case), but I can't really enjoy my late game of 1579 days since the 5-7 FPS that i get can get is tiresome (i'd be happy with 15 to 20) with having to pause a lot and not being able to run the game on fast if I want to.
