If you accidentally hit the key combination to enter Screenshot Mode, it can be difficult or impossible to get out of it. This happened to me before I knew that Screenshot Mode existed; I couldn't figure out why the UI had suddenly disappeared, or how to get it back. I'm seeing a lot of other bug reports here to the effect of "one time, my UI disappeared", and I think this could be the culprit. I think the "Escape" key should exit Screenshot Mode, because it's the logical thing to try and because there's otherwise no indication of what you should do.
Steps to Reproduce
Hit alt-S (default keybindings) to enter screenshot mode, then hit Escape and note that you're still in screenshot mode.
