From what I've seen in streams of ONI, ruins are supposed to be blacked out until we explore them. Mine, however, are fully revealed as soon as they're uncovered in the fog of war. This is hardly a game-breaking bug, but it does take a bit of the fun out of discovering what lies within out of the experience..
