when building a wall and a block has to be mined first they will build the wall over the resource and it will be lost.

when deconstructing wires or pipes that are inside walls or floors, the resource will spawn inside the block and get deleted.


Steps to Reproduce
build a wall going vertically without first digging the blocks in the world. deconstruct a wire, liquidpipe or gaspipe, inside a wall or floor.

Status: Known Issue

We are aware of this issue and have it logged internally but either we do not have a fix ready yet or we are not planning on addressing the issue in the immediate future.

I have a similar issue, I believe. I canceled a pending mesh tile construction order, under an existing pneumatic door. The iron buried itself in the algae above. After deconstructing the door and digging the algae tile the iron appeared unusable, and did not appear as a resource.

In the first picture the iron is highlighted, yet does not register. This is even after it having been swept into the storage container that it sits at the foot of.

When I attempt to finish the p.door, it says I have no iron.

One other factor maybe that may doors are locked from the inside, permission-wise. That tends to change the resource counts.
