Repeating crash "Assert failed"

Hi, I've had this crash happen very frequently - to the point that the game isn't really playable.
I submitted the full crash report over a month ago but no action has been taken to resolve the issue.

I'm hoping someone out there might be able to help me fix the issue based on the cryptic debug output available:

Steps to Reproduce

Load the game. Wait for the game to randomly crash.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I'm thrilled to learn that this has been fixed and I can play the game again.
I've been eagerly checking the update status on Steam multiple times a day with high hopes since this was marked fixed, but not luck so far.

Any idea when this update will be pushed? Thanks!

Hi Eric, adding you since it's been awhile since I've heard anything.
To recap, this issue has existed as far back as May of last year, was marked as fixed about a month ago, yet the issue persists.

This is occurring on Steam where I bought the game and all DLC.
