Rad Research Stops No errand to do work

Materials Science Research stops getting done.

Lab has 100 rad bolts, errands shows no dupes coming to do the research.

Mostly happens in the late research levels.

Disabling building, and shooting more rads doesn't fix the issue.

Destroying and rebuilding the building fixes the issue.

 

Happened in the last few game updates.

 

Attached pictures show building with bolts and no one coming to do research. The a rebuild of the lab and they get assigned.

Steps to Reproduce

I am not sure what causes it.  Doesn't seem to happen at tier 6 research.

At tier 7/8 it happens very often.  Dupes are researching each time the building gets more rad bolts.

Then it stops showing anyone in the errand tab and the building fill ups with rad bolts and no dupes add the job to their list of things to do.

Playing you only notice if you click on the building to see if it has rads and why nobody is researching.

Met the same bug. One solution is cancel the research item and reset it. This bug usually happens at the end of a research, hope for a fix.

Not the end of research for me.  Working on tier 7/8 takes a huge amount and I have to rebuild the station several times to get the researching to continue on the one selected.
