Pressure plate many time doesn't update its value
And it's not only visual, tried to set the value to 400kg, still disabled.
For your information, the iron here is dripped liquid from a volcano, then turns solid because of the pressure plate temp°.

Play around with the pressure plate. You can try to drip liquid that's going to turns solid when exchanging heat with the plate.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
