Polymer bricks do not cool down

chemie
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Steam Pending

Polymer bricks, either a stand alone bricks or in a compactor, do not cool down.

Put in ice biome, and they stay 50C for 100's of cycles.

I have not tested but I believe they can heat up and melt but they appear immune to cooling down in brick state. Once you build something (floor tiles, beds etc), then it takes on environmental temps.

Steps to Reproduce
make brick move brick to ice biome notice temp wont drop

User Feedback

What is the size of the item? If you have a 20t megabrick, it won't cool down quickly. If it's something like 1000kg, then it should not be as resistant to temperature change.

Just a single brick from one output of the press.  it does change if not moved but once moved, it locks in until you build something out of it.
