Polluted Water used as coolant in Metal Refinery produces Polluted Oxygen

As title says, I built a refinery, sent polluted water to it as coolant, and it is now producing polluted oxygen. I first thought there's a pile of rot laying under it but after sweeping the place clean it was still producing.

Build a Metal Refinery, cool it with Polluted Water

The hint box for polluted water states that polluted water emits polluted oxygen, so this also happening inside machines is probably a feature and not a bug.

It doesn't happen in other buildings. Hydroponic tiles, Fertilizer Synthesizer, Water Sieve - none of them produces polluted oxygen when filled with polluted water.
