Pacu trying so hard to eat but can't

You can get them to eat if you increase the amount of water in the top cells.

Potentially related. Slicksters at 1x game speed have trouble escaping vertically from a tile of liquid because the fall animation triggers before they have the opportunity to move sideways; at 3x game speed, the fall animation rarely triggers and slicksters are capable of escaping immediately.

The gif shows slicksters at 1x game speed making several attempts to escape from 400 kg of salt water. Eventually, the slickster escapes within 100 s (4 schedule blocks).

I'm not sure when this behavior started happening but pacu seem to "fall" and "change" navigation grid when they get at the top cell of the puddle they are in. Top cells in this puddle have ~700kg polluted water. Pacu shouldn't fall when they get there, right?
