I accidentally let petroleum mix with polluted water with a Pacu living in it. Next thing I know I see the little critter swimming in scorching petroleum!

~~That's crude oil...~~

Pacu can live in any liquid, so long as it's within their habitable temp range.

technically the liquid is only needed for swimming, pacu can survive outside of liquid for entire life cycle....
