No mechanized airlock thermal transfer

There is no medium. Tile to tile transfer does not work without a medium. So you´ve build yourself an insulator. You need either a gas (around 1kg/per tile for normal heat transfer), or a liquid. Without, there is just no transfer in this game.

Thats not required for tile-door-tile transfer, especially because the material would just be crushed the first time the doors close, and it would defeat the purpose of opening the doors to insulate the two chambers.

 

Something else has to be going on here.
