my game wont update

I normaly just log on steam and it tells me about game but it says non steam mod or shortcut but I can tell you I don't have the money to buy the game again

 

Hello @SturdyRabbit400, welcome to the forums. Have you tried to verify the integrity of the game cache yet?

Open steam, right click oxygen not included.  Click properties.   navigate to Beta tab

make sure it looks like this
