Missing recipes in Kiln

I have recipes but if I didnt know what they were making it might be confusing... lol
the right hand panel shows the message for selecting ceramic but if you pick the one for refined carbon it just says 'coal' and needs coal..

I started having this problem today after I moved my kiln. The old one had the recipe for refined carbon but the new one is missing it. (It only has the recipe for ceramic.)

I have coal on hand and there's already some refined carbon stored, and I tried mining more coal in case that would trigger something. I've researched everything there is to research, in case that makes a difference. I saved and reloaded my game but the problem persists.

I'm playing on the QoL Mk 1 version.
