Mesh door permissions not working

Dupes seem to be able to pass through any mesh door that I've disallowed permissions on

Steps to Reproduce
Build a mesh door, disallow permissions, do some other stuff
Go to bugs

I think it's because the door is horizontal. I've tried settings up permissions with horizontal doors before and it didn't work.
