That's just it: you can't.

The game will crash when a dupe reaches it's melting point.

Steps to Reproduce
Try to melt a dupe. I know it's a cruel thing to do but just do it. Heck, even get Cheerrio(/Yogurtson) to do it for you, he'd GLADLY do it! :3

And that's why you use an empty string for the transition element instead of itself.
Infinite loops aren't fun.
