Liquid not landing where it should

KomisCZ
  • Branch: Live Branch Version: Steam Closed

When releasing liquid from a Liquid Vent (tested with water and polluted water only) into a body of water it hits the bottom tile instead the surface of the water. I realized this is the case when dumping water and polluted water into one tank containing germs (that was not the initial idea how to do things but it ended up that way)and heating it up using the Liquid Tepidizer. When germs started to die off I saw the amount to increase with depth which was wierd. So I zoomed in to investigate and immediately realized that I can see the drops of liquid falling through the body of water all the way to the ground and smile formed on my face.

"Challenge accepted" moment right there (you would need more data to fully realize what it meant but thats not important)

Btw, did I mention I love this game.

Steps to Reproduce
Have liquid falling into a body of liquid and observe the drops going through the body of liquid all the way to the bottom instead of hitting the surface.

User Feedback

A picture/gif/video would've been much better than a long description. (I still don't know what you are talking about)

Thanks for reporting this! It's actually working as intended, to prevent crazy liquid explosions drips of liquids will keep falling through other liquids until they reach their "level". Since dirty water sorts below clean water, dirty water drips will fall right through clean water to the bottom.
